ACTIVITIES RELATED TO I.T. SALES

Equipment for data-processing centres (DPCs):
- We store, ship and install racks, servers, backup systems, SAI (UPS), hardware, etc.
- We are qualified to provide tecnhical support for both hardware and software.
- We collect hardware and parts to be destroyed, supplying the relevant certificate.
Major transfers between DPCs:
Transfers between DPCs are critical and call for thorough study of what is involved. The process can be made smoother by preparing a plan to minimize impact and the maintenance window.
At LQS, we focus on achieving minimum downtime at the DPC during transfer operations. We assess the risks and potential incidents involved both before and after the intervention. We prepare a contingency plan to respond to all possible scenarios.
On the customer’s premises we carry out all the necessary advance dismantling and labelling of hardware. We then pack it into containers or other storage systems. The material is transferred to the new site by our logistics fleet.
After delivery, we unpack, reassemble and reconnect all the items and devices in the relevant locations at the new site. We continue with operating tests and an overall assessment of the facilities. Finally, we document all the processes and operations planned and performed and delivery our summary report.

Secure information destruction:
Since IT has been available, the large quantity of documentation companies generate in the course of their business has been stored on different media. We handle hard drives, DVDs and CDs.
The need for such data to be destroyed to comply with the applicable laws and regulations calls for secure-destruction programmes to be implemented. At LQS we consider it to be essential for these programmes to be adapted to each customer’s specific characteristics.
We carry out the collection and confidential destruction of documentation, assuring that the custody chain is preserved. Finally, we provide whichever destruction certificate our customers needs for their audits.
Screen management:
- We transport, assemble and install large-format screens on fixed or mobile supports.
- We complete highly complex deliveries with various operators using special resources.
- We assemble led screens 3– 24 square metres in size.
